MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KnowledgeBank, Inc., an award-winning provider of innovative human capital management, organizational effectiveness, consulting and outsourcing services, has acquired the Total Compensation Survey of Mid-Atlantic Technology Companies from a State College, PA based consulting firm. KnowledgeBank will continue to focus the survey on emerging and mid-market technology companies, while increasing survey participation of Mid-Atlantic companies seeking information regarding competitive market-based salary and incentive data, salary adjustments, cash and equity incentive plans for executives and technical professionals, and trends in human resource practices and employee benefit plans. The 2008 – 2009 survey opens on September 3rd, 2008; the data input forms are located at www.knowledgebank.us.com, and respondents can either complete the data entry online or download a copy for subsequent completion and submission via mail. Technology companies are invited to participate by completing the survey questionnaire no later than October 3rd, 2008. Respondents will be provided a free copy of the summary results in November. Non-participants may purchase the results for $400. The survey is the most comprehensive assessment of total compensation practices for technology firms in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The survey, which has been conducted annually for the past 17 years, is dedicated to serving the needs of small-to-medium size technology companies, including information technology and service firms, interested in obtaining competitive salary and incentive bonus rates for 30 benchmark jobs, ranging from the Chief Executive Officer to Programmer Analyst, Senior Software Developer, Network Engineer/Technician, and Tech Support/Customer Specialist.
“The acquisition of this well-established survey is a natural progression for our growing compensation consulting practice,” said Steve Rosenthal, KnowledgeBank’s Vice President and Compensation Practice Leader. “Developing creative and flexible solutions for rewarding and retaining key talent is one of the most important challenges facing organizations today, particularly those focused on knowledge workers,” says Rosenthal. “The addition of this survey to our already broad-based compensation consulting practice enables us to help our clients customize effective, leading-edge compensation programs that enhance retention, increase employee satisfaction and drive superior organizational performance.”
