NEW YORK (AP) -- Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. said late Sunday it will go public on the New York Stock Exchange in a deal which calls for the private equity firm to purchase Amsterdam-listed investment fund KKR Private Equity Investors LP.KKR Private Equity shareholders would own 21 percent of the combined company, and KKR would hold 79 percent.
No cash would change hands in the deal, nor are any public stock offerings planned.
