2 hours, 1 minute ago NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wachovia Corp (WB.N), Citigroup Inc (C.N) and Wells Fargo & Co (WFC.N) agreed again to hold off on litigation over the acquisition of Wachovia while talks between the banks and the Federal Reserve continue.A previous agreement to halt litigation in the increasingly bitter fight had been due to expire on Wednesday at noon. In a statement, the banks said the deadline has been extended in consultation with the Federal Reserve to Friday, October 10, at 8 a.m. EDT.
U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan canceled a hearing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon but this had not yet been rescheduled, a judge's clerk said.
