PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- FLIR Systems Inc., a manufacturer of thermal imaging and infrared camera systems, announced Monday that it has received a $14.7 million contract for infrared military equipment.The contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center calls for high-resolution all-weather, day-or-night thermal imaging systems on vehicles, FLIR Systems said.
Work will be done at FLIR's facilities in North Billerica, Mass., and deliveries are expected to be completed within a year.
Shares of FLIR fell 10 cents to close at $38.70.
