WASHINGTON (AP) -- EADS North America, a unit of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co., spent nearly $1.3 million in the second quarter lobbying the federal government, according to a recent disclosure form.The company lobbied on the Homeland Security Department's spending bill, according to the report filed July 21 with the Senate's clerk office.
Besides Congress, EADS North America also lobbied the departments of Defense and Homeland Security during the April-June period.
Among those registered on behalf of EADS were: Sam Adcock, formerly a legislative director for former Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss., and Aubert Kimbrell, who used to be a legislative director for then Representative, now Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss.
