NEW YORK (AP) -- Copper prices sank Friday, finishing the week down 8.5 percent, as oil prices dipped and the Labor Department reported a massive spike in the unemployment rate.Copper, an industrial metal, has been weakening along with oil on the prospect of a slower global economy and lower demand.
Copper for December delivery fell 16.75 cents to settle at $3.0985 a pound on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
