FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) -- Information technology services provider Computer Sciences Corp. said Tuesday that it will move its Identity Labs headquarters to West Virginia next month so that it is closer to federal government operations.Spokesman Rich Venn said the relocation will not involve any job cuts.
The relocation of Identity Labs, which provides biometric, radio frequency identification technology and other services, will allow it easier access to the I-79 Technology Corridor.
The Defense Department's Biometrics Task Force/Biometrics Fusion Center, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Criminal Justice Information Services unit, West Virginia University and the National Science Foundation Center for Identification Technology Research are all located in the corridor.
