RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (AP) -- The Brazilian government says monthly inflation rose in October after four months of declines.The IPCA consumer price index jumped 0.45 percent in October. That brings the 12-month inflation total to 6.41 percent.
For the 10 months ending in October, inflation stands at 5.23 percent.
Brazil's government says its inflation target for this year is 6 percent.
