LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Four towns in Arkansas will receive federal grants to pay for new law enforcement and fire department equipment.Arkansas' congressional delegation announced the grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development program Monday.
Marshall will receive $50,000 from the USDA to buy a new police car, while Forrest City will get $40,000 to buy new video cameras for police cars.
Crawfordsville will receive a $22,000 grant and a $100,000 loan to build an addition to its fire station. The expansion will give the fire department more space and will also include a community center.
