CHANTILLY, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apptis, Inc., a leading IT and communications services provider to the federal marketplace, announced today its participation in the $12.225 billion ENCORE II Information Technology Solutions contract awarded by the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), under the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). As a subcontractor to NETCONN Solutions, one of 26 DISA ENCORE II awardees, Apptis provides IT solutions and services for Department of Defense, Military Services and other agencies of the Federal government. The IT programs and projects include the transition from legacy systems to a new infrastructure in accordance with the Network-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) program.“As the government continues to enhance its IT infrastructure, DISA continues to lead the way. DISA ENCORE II is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracting vehicle providing network-centric solutions, in the form of hardware, software and licenses that are incidental to the implementation of the IT solution. The contract covers network engineering, protection, analysis and support of components and systems in operational environments of combatant commands and their subordinate components, Department of Defense, Military Services and other agencies of the Federal government.
