WINDSOR, Ontario (AP) -- Windsor business owners say the hundreds of thousands of tourists who flocked to this Canadian border city to take in the weekend's Red Bull Air Races provided a much-needed boost to the economy.Proprietors also relished the flood of tourists flowing through their stores and restaurants.
The Ontario city that neighbors Detroit is struggling to cope with crippling layoffs in the auto industry and an unemployment rate that's almost doubled in the past seven years.
Some businesses reported a 50 percent increase in traffic as people observed the high-speed, low-altitude flying races.
